Basketball Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center

Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They snuck past the Woodward-Granger Hawks with a 68-64 victory. Given Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center's advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while Woodward-Granger is ranked 286th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Woodward-Granger, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-9 record.

Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center will venture away from home to square off against Earlham at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Earlham likes a good challenge. As for Woodward-Granger, they are taking a road trip to face off against Interstate 35 at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
