King triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Mallory Lopez

The King Brahmas won the last time they faced the Banquete Bulldogs, and things went their way on Tuesday too. King came out on top against Banquete by a score of 49-37.

Mallory Lopez was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 13 points. Arianna Mejorado was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.

King's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Banquete, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

King will head out on the road to face off against Gregory-Portland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gregory-Portland is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games. As for Banquete, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Ingleside at 6:00 p.m.
