Football Recap: Northwood Takes a Loss

Northwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Margaretta Polar Bears 49-14.

Northwood now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Margaretta, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northwood is set to face off against their familiar foe Willard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Margaretta will challenge rival Woodmore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Polar Bears 8.4, the Wildcats 6.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
