Volleyball Recap: Minooka's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Minooka and Glenbard West squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Minooka had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Hilltoppers. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Hilltoppers when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Glenbard West scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20.

Minooka's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-19. As for Glenbard West, their win bumped their record up to 31-5.

Minooka does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Glenbard West, they will face off against Hinsdale South at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Hilltoppers surely won't give up without a fight.
