Football Game Preview: David Anderson Blue Devils vs. Southern Indians

The David Anderson Blue Devils are taking a road trip to take on the Southern Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Southern took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on David Anderson, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, David Anderson humbled Wellsville with a 49-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won three matchups by 27 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Southern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 41-18 to Leetonia. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly 23 points.

The win made it two in a row for David Anderson and bumps their season record up to 4-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.5 points over those games. As for Southern, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

David Anderson ended up a good deal behind Southern in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, losing 22-7. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
