Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Liberty

Liberty had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eminence Redwings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

Kelbie Smith paced Liberty's offense, picking up five kills. Smith got some help from Jordyn Tune and her 13 assists. Tune was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 15-5-3. As for Eminence, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.

Liberty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Sullivan on the 4th. As for Eminence, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Capital City on the 4th.
