Basketball Game Preview: West Point Green Wave vs. New Hope Trojans

The West Point Green Wave are taking a road trip to face off against the New Hope Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West Point will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Last Tuesday, West Point lost to Lafayette on the road by a 47-30 margin.

Meanwhile, New Hope was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Corinth 67-21. The game marked the Trojans' most dominant victory of the season so far.

New Hope's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for West Point, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.

West Point came out on top in a nail-biter against New Hope when the teams last played back in February, sneaking past 41-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Point since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
