Goliad had already won 25 in a row and they went ahead and made it 26 on Friday. Everything went their way against the Poth Pirates as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18, 25-2.

Goliad's win bumped their record up to 33-3. As for Poth, their loss dropped their record down to 19-15.

Goliad and Poth should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Tigers will square off against Stockdale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (37 vs. 143). Meanwhile, Poth (ranked 502nd) will meet Karnes City (ranked 1139th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
