Basketball Recap: Proviso East Takes a Loss

Proviso East suffered their biggest defeat since December 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 73-36 loss at the hands of the Lyons Lions. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Proviso East lost, don't look at Carl Glenwright. Despite the final result, he posted 15 points. Jalen Burge was another key player, putting up nine points.

Proviso East's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lyons, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
