Baseball Recap: United Extends Winning Streak to Four

United won the last time they faced Medina Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Longhorns were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the Panthers. Winning may never get old, but the Longhorns sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Ramon De Alba made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Hector Cadena was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Michael Guerra was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

United's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Medina Valley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9.

United will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
