 After three games on the road, Strom Thurmond is heading back home. They will take on the Fox Creek Predators at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
 Last Tuesday, it was a hard-fought  contest, but Strom Thurmond had to settle for  a  7-6 defeat against Fox Creek.
 For Fox Creek's part,  Devin Hillary made a splash no matter where he played. He  tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Hillary has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in four consecutive pitching appearances. Hillary was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-5.
 In other batting news, Fox Creek got a big performance out of  Chance Weathersbee, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  Hank Greene, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-5.
 Strom Thurmond's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Fox Creek, their victory was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-3-1.
