Football Recap: Everman Bulldogs vs. Argyle Eagles

Everman had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-5 to make it seven. They had to suffer through a 65-17 loss at the hands of the Argyle Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 356th, while the Eagles are ranked 23rd).

Although Everman took the loss, they still got scores from Barrington Stricklin and Princton Roberts.

As for Argyle, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1. The contest marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

Maguire Gasperson produced another solid effort throwing for 247 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81.2% of his passes, and also punching in one TD on the ground.
