Football Recap: Creek Valley Storm vs. Minatare Indians
Creek Valley gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They blew past the Minatare Indians, posting a 48-6 win at home. The victory was some much needed relief for the Storm as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Creek Valley wouldn't let Minatare keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Carter Russell, Pj Schultz, and Bradey Andrews picked up one apiece. Schultz also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble and making two total tackles.
Creek Valley will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Wallace at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Creek Valley is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for Minatare, they will take on Banner County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Minatare is looking for their season?s first win.
