Basketball Game Preview: Los Molinos Bulldogs vs. Redding Christian Lions

Los Molinos is 1-9 against Redding Christian since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Los Molinos Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Redding Christian Lions at 7:30 p.m. After both made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

Los Molinos is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 77-39 win over CORE Butte. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Redding Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They took their match on Thursday with ease, bagging a 69-32 win over Hayfork. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 23 points or more this season.

Redding Christian's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-3. As for Los Molinos, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.

Things could have been worse for Los Molinos, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 51-33 loss to Redding Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Los Molinos avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
