Soccer Game Preview: Nooksack Valley vs. Sultan

The Nooksack Valley Pioneers will head out on the road to take on the Sultan Turks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Nooksack Valley has given up an average of 5 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Nooksack Valley turned things around against Sedro-Woolley on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 6-6 draw. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Nooksack Valley's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, Sultan has been on a difficult stretch since their win on March 21. They played to a draw too, finishing 2-2 against Marysville-Pilchuck.

With that draw, Nooksack Valley's record moves to 1-14-1. Meanwhile, Sultan's record is now 3-5-3.
