Basketball Recap: Moorhead Gets the Win

Moorhead won the last time they faced West Fargo and things went their way on Thursday too. The Moorhead Spuds snuck past the West Fargo Packers with a 50-46 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spuds.

Moorhead has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for West Fargo, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moorhead will host Brainerd at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Brainerd will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Moorhead surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Fargo, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Shanley at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
