Grand Haven won the last time they faced Stevenson and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Buccaneers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Spartans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buccaneers.

Grand Haven got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 28-30, 25-18, 21-19.

Grand Haven now has a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Grand Haven will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Caledonia at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Stevenson, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against South Lyon East on the 20th.
