Soccer Recap: Central Valley Takes a Loss

Central Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the University Prep Panthers, falling 7-0. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in January.

Central Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for University Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Valley will face off against Yreka at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for University Prep, they will take on West Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. University Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season.
