The Edmond North Huskies can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 49-34 win over Yukon. The win was just what Edmond North needed coming off of a 54-30 loss in their prior matchup.

Dev Mathews got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 303 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry.

Despite the loss, Yukon still got an impressive performance from Holden Kee, who rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 321 yards and two touchdowns. Lucas Jones also helped out as he racked up 124 receiving yards.

Edmond North's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Yukon, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edmond North will take on Mustang at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Mustang is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Yukon, they will look to defend their home field on October 27th against Norman at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Norman is ranked 58th, while Yukon is ranked 78th).
