Basketball Game Preview: Kennewick Lions vs. Kamiakin Braves

The Kennewick Lions will face off against the Kamiakin Braves at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kennewick knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matchups -- so hopefully Kamiakin likes a good challenge.

Kennewick is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Hermiston: they outscored them in every quarter. Kennewick blew past Hermiston 62-41 on Wednesday. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kamiakin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 57-45 victory over Hermiston on Saturday.

Kennewick pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.8 points. As for Kamiakin, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.

Kennewick strolled past Kamiakin in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 56-37. Will Kennewick repeat their success, or does Kamiakin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
