Basketball Recap: Ridgeland Takes a Loss

Ridgeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were beaten by the LaFayette Ramblers 66-26. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-31 back in December of 2024.

Ridgeland's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for LaFayette, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Ridgeland Panthers face off against the Gilmer Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for LaFayette, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-26 victory against Marion County on the 18th.
