Softball Recap: Vista Ridge Wolves vs. Mesa Ridge Grizzlies
Vista Ridge extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping them down to 14-8. They lost 12-6 to the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 4-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.
Delaney Hamilton was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jocelynn Kalkman, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
As for Mesa Ridge, they pushed their record up to 14-7-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The result was nothing new for the Grizzlies, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.
