Baseball Recap: Triton Takes a Loss

Triton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waseca Bluejays. The Cobras were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bluejays from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Triton's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Waseca, their win bumped their record up to 2-12.

Looking ahead, Triton will head out to face off against Loyola at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Waseca, they will be playing at home against New Ulm at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for the Bluejays: they have been struggling with 16 straight losses at home dating back to last season, while the Eagles have snatched up eight consecutive wins on the road.
