Basketball Game Preview: Westborough Rangers vs. Tantasqua Regional Warriors

The Westborough Rangers will venture away from home to square off against the Tantasqua Regional Warriors at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Westborough is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Westborough's last matchup with Clinton could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Saturday. Westborough was beaten by Clinton 66-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Rangers have suffered since February 17, 2024.

Tantasqua Regional has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-51 heartbreaker at the hands of Nipmuc Regional.

Tantasqua Regional's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Westborough, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Westborough took a serious blow against Tantasqua Regional in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 80-47. Can Westborough avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
