Softball Recap: Ash Fork/Seligman Takes a Loss

Ash Fork/Seligman came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Alchesay Falcons, falling 16-6.

Gracie Staples was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1. Crystal Nixon was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-1.

Ash Fork/Seligman's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Alchesay, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-8 record this season.

Ash Fork/Seligman has already played their next game, a 19-1 win against Fort Thomas on the 21st. As for Alchesay, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-7 loss against Chandler Prep on the 21st.
