Softball Recap: Morse Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Morse can now relate to. They fell just short of the Canyon Hills Rattlers by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Rattlers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Morse's defeat dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Canyon Hills, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

Morse does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Canyon Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southwest EC at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Rattlers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
