Volleyball Recap: Logan's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

After flying high against San Jon on Monday, Logan came back down to earth. The Longhorns fell just short of the Legacy Academy Silverbacks by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Longhorns' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Logan took Legacy Academy into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking 11-point loss. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-16, 25-14, 26-28, 15-4.

Among those leading the charge was Raelynn Trujillo, who had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last seven matchups.

Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 16-3. As for Legacy Academy, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Coming up, Logan will square off against Tournament Opponent on November 1. As for Legacy Academy, they will challenge Monte Del Sol Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
