Preview: Eastern View Cyclones vs. Albemarle Patriots
Eastern View is 0-3 against Albemarle since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Eastern View Cyclones will be home for the holidays to greet the Albemarle Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Eastern View fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Chancellor on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 59-58 to the Chargers. Eastern View just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Meanwhile, Albemarle scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 96-38 win over Orange County at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Albemarle has managed all season.
Eastern View has fallen quite a ways from their 17-8 record last season and are now at 2-4. As for Albemarle, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
