South Kitsap posted their closest victory since April 9th on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Yelm Tornados, sneaking past 4-2. Four seems to be a good number for the Wolves as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The victory made it two in a row for South Kitsap and bumps their season record up to 7-13. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Yelm, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.

South Kitsap does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Yelm, they will venture away from home to square off against Timberline at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blazers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Tornados surely won't give up without a fight.
