The Hope Academy Trojan Tigers had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.2 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They breezed by Four Corners at home to the tune of 89-53. Hope Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Hope Academy found their leader in underclassman Dwayne Foreman III, who scored 23 points along with six assists and four steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Foreman III has scored at least 25% of Hope Academy's points. Xavier Shine was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.

Four Corners' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ian Parham, who scored 16 points. Parham scored a full 30.2% of Four Corners' points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Barnes, who scored 15 points.

Hope Academy's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.4 points per game. As for Four Corners, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hope Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cocoa at 7:00 p.m. on December 13th. Hopefully Cocoa focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday. As for Four Corners, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Discovery at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Discovery's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
