Baseball Recap: Kasson-Mantorville Komets vs. Cannon Falls Bombers        
        
		
            
 Kasson-Mantorville has not done well against Cannon Falls recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Thursday. The Kasson-Mantorville Komets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-2  win over the Cannon Falls Bombers. The  victory was familiar territory for Kasson-Mantorville who now have four in a row.
  Spencer Anderson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just two earned runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Grady Babcock was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sam Graunke, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Kasson-Mantorville pushed their record up to 5-2 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. As for Cannon Falls, they now  have a losing record at 5-6.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kasson-Mantorville is on the road again  on Friday to play Austin at 5:00  p.m. As for Cannon Falls, they will  face off against Kasson-Mantorville at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday.
