Basketball Recap: Seguin Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Seguin faced off against Mansfield Summit on Tuesday. The Seguin Cougars took a blow against the Mansfield Summit Jaguars, falling 67-21. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 719th, while the Jaguars are ranked 58th).

Seguin's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Mansfield Summit, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.

Seguin will head out to face off against Everman at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Seguin is facing Everman at the right time seeing as Everman is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Mansfield Summit, they will be home for the holidays to greet Centennial at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
