Volleyball Recap: Coachella Valley's Loss Ends Ten-Game Winning Streak at Home

Coachella Valley came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Palm Springs Indians. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Mighty Arabs have suffered since August 27, 2024.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-10, 25-18.

Yamarani Vega paced Coachella Valley's offense, picking up seven kills. Vega got some help from Vanessa Garcia and her eight assists. Anayee Corona controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Coachella Valley's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2. As for Palm Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Coachella Valley has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Shadow Hills on the 25th. As for Palm Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Desert Christian Academy on the 25th.
