Volleyball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Miami East Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-5, 25-12.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Miami East, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

Riverside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Benjamin Logan on the 4th. As for Miami East, they will face off against Tri-Village at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
