Chester won against Fairfield Central last Tuesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Chester's pitchers stepped up to hand Fairfield Central a 4-0 shutout. The win was just business as usual for the Cyclones, who after seven games remain undefeated this season.

Chester pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Fairfield Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
