Basketball Recap: Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Takes a Loss

Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 69-44 to the Burlington Christian Academy Royals. The Lion haven't had much luck with the Royals recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Despite the loss, Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Caleb Worsham posted 11 points. Worsham has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 75% every time he's hit the court this season. Hudson Rogers was another key player, putting up seven points.

Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Burlington Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-36 victory against Lee Christian on the 18th. As for Burlington Christian Academy, they will face off against Winston Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
