Dana Hills hadn't done well against Mission Viejo recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Dolphins narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Diablos 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Dolphins: when they faced off against the Diablos back in April, they had to take a 6-1 defeat.

Melissa Reed spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Marley Tisdale was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Dana Hills and bumps their season record up to 11-13. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for Mission Viejo, they now have a losing record of 13-14.

As of now, neither Dana Hills nor the Diablos have any future games scheduled.
