            There's no place like home for Batesville, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Tuesday. They skirted past the Brookland Bearcats  7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Pioneers have posted  since March 27th.

 Batesville's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Brecken Glasgow, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. Glasgow is becoming a predictor of the Pioneers' success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is undefeated (and 6-9 when he doesn't).  Ian Jones was another,  earning two  runs and two  stolen bases.
Batesville now  has a winning record of 10-9. As for Brookland, their loss  ended  a  six-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 15-8.
 Coming up, Batesville will venture away from home to  take on Searcy  at 1:23  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Brookland, they will square off against Highland at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
