Lewis Cass fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Fort Wayne Canterbury Cavaliers on Friday, sneaking past 53-51.

Despite the loss, Fort Wayne Canterbury still got an impressive performance from Reed Hayes, who went 9-for-12 on his way to 22 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Hayes a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Aran Padmalingam, who posted nine points along with six assists and six steals.

Lewis Cass' victory bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Fort Wayne Canterbury, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
