While Ridgefield put up plenty of points on Thursday, the same can't be said for McMahon. The Tigers blew past the Senators 35-0. Considering the Tigers have won four matchups by more than 23 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Ridgefield got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Leo Moore out in front who rushed for 93 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.

Moore was just one part of a punishing run game: Ridgefield was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 315 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Another reason for the win was Ridgefield's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Michael Salimbene refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.

The win made it two in a row for Ridgefield and bumps their season record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.5 points over those games. As for McMahon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Ridgefield will head out to square off against Darien at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. As for McMahon, they will challenge Trumbull at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
