Baseball Recap: Warwick Comes Up Short

Warwick was the 4-3 winner over Goshen Central when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Gladiators by a score of 4-2 on Monday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Warwick's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Goshen Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Warwick will square off against Cornwall Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Dragons' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Goshen Central, they will face off against Washingtonville at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
