Basketball Recap: Clinton Red Devils vs. Cross Stingrays
Clinton picked up another tournament win on Monday. They strolled past the Cross Stingrays with points to spare, taking the game 50-31.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clinton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mylayja Thompson, who went 5 for 7 on her way to 14 points and three steals. Thompson has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. Bryanna Belton was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Despite the loss, Cross saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sydney Hollings posted 11 points.

As for Cross, they will look to defend their home court on January 7th against Holy Trinity Classical Christian at 6:00 p.m. Holy Trinity Classical Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
