Lockland scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 24-14 to the New Miami Vikings. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Lockland's loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8. As for New Miami, they moved to 3-6 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lockland is set to square off against their familiar foe St. Bernard-Elmwood Place at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. Meanwhile, New Miami will take on rival Miami Valley Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
