Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waukegan). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees 75-13. With that win, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 50.7 points per game.

Waukegan's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hadassah Brown, who went 9 of 11 on her way to 19 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. The contest was Brown's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Baakir Christian was another key player, going 6 for 12 en route to 14 points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Waukegan pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points per game. As for Zion-Benton, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.
