Baseball Recap: Vincennes Lincoln Gets the Win

Vincennes Lincoln lost to North Posey back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Alices came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 8-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Alices.

Brady Anderson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Luke Hall was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Landon Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Vincennes Lincoln's record now sits at 5-1. As for North Posey, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Vincennes Lincoln didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-3 win against Evansville Reitz on the 17th. As for North Posey, they have also already played their next matchup, a 12-0 victory against Pike Central on the 17th.
