Softball Game Preview: Sageview Lobos vs. Walla Walla Blue Devils

The Sageview Lobos are taking a road trip to face off against the Walla Walla Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sageview has given up an average of 18 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Sageview came up short against Richland on Tuesday, falling 20-2. That's two games in a row now that the Lobos have lost by exactly 18 runs.

Meanwhile, Walla Walla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-7 heartbreaker at the hands of Chiawana.

Brooklyn White ?27 was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 2-for-4. Mady Olivares ?26 also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Walla Walla's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Sageview, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
