Basketball Recap: Cranston East Takes a Loss

If Cranston East was riding high fresh off their 65-45 takedown of Johnston last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cranston East Thunderbolts fell just short of the Cranston West Falcons by a score of 46-43 on Friday. The Thunderbolts have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Cranston East now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Cranston West, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cranston East will head out to square off against North Kingstown at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cranston West, they will venture away from home to challenge Tiverton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
