Recap: Mesick Bulldogs vs. Crossroads Charter Academy Cougars
The Mesick Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 61-23 loss at the hands of Crossroads Charter Academy. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Mesick has suffered since December 7, 2023.
Mesick lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kayla McCoy, who scored ten points along with two steals. That was a full 43.5% of Mesick's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Harmony Harris was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Mesick's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Crossroads Charter Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.
Mesick will square off against Cadillac Heritage Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Crossroads Charter Academy, they will be playing at home against West Michigan Aviation Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
