Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Friday. Cedar Bluff walked away with a 6-1 win over Valley Head. The victory continues a trend for Cedar Bluff in their matchups with Valley Head: they've now won three in a row.

Mackenzie Kimmons looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kylie Vadon, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Paityn Walker, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Cedar Bluff always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Valley Head only posted an OBP of .300.

Cedar Bluff's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Valley Head, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Looking ahead, Cedar Bluff will welcome Glencoe at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Valley Head, they will square off against West End at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
