Softball Recap: South Bend Saint Joseph Takes a Loss

South Bend Saint Joseph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-2 to the Roncalli Royals.

Kiley Weinberg made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

South Bend Saint Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Roncalli, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Coming up, South Bend Saint Joseph is taking a road trip to challenge Elkhart at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huskies are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Roncalli, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 14-4 win against Westfield on the 26th.
